Support Catch-Up Retirement Plan Schemas. Employers can now support catch-up contributions for employees nearing retirement age. This allows workers to contribute more than the standard annual limits to their retirement accounts, helping them maximize their savings as they approach retirement.

Improvements for Vacation Pay in Canada. Managing vacation pay in compliance with Canadian regulations requires a smooth and transparent process for both employers and employees. To enhance the experience, we’ve made updates that improve how vacation pay is handled and displayed. While setting up policies, employers can now easily choose between accruing vacation pay over time or paying it out with each paycheck.
We've also improved visibility: the accrued vacation amount is now clearly accessible in the balance section and included in worker paystubs, reducing confusion and minimizing employee inquiries. These enhancements ensure that employers can efficiently manage vacation pay while providing greater transparency to their employees.
Reminder and Quick Access to Collect Missing Employer Tax IDs. To streamline the payroll setup process and prevent compliance delays, we've enhanced our embedded components to proactively remind employers to provide their missing state tax IDs. Employers are now alerted via the Employer Dashboard with a dedicated setup task, ensuring tax IDs are collected in a timely manner. Additionally, during payroll runs, employers will see clear warnings with quick access points to submit missing tax information.
These proactive reminders and access points reduce the operational burden on your support team by minimizing the need for manual outreach. If you’re using our embedded components, this feature is automatically available without any further changes. For those using custom payroll UIs, this functionality is also exposed via alerts in the payroll run interface, making it easy to integrate.
