We're back with more enhancements to supercharge your payroll services. This month, we're introducing a range of features to make employer onboarding more versatile, streamline bank account integration, provide insights into employer accounts, and improve the handling of pay schedules.
New Employer Onboarding Options: Embedded or Hosted. Now, you have two flexible ways to embed the Employer Onboarding component. Choose between Embedded to seamlessly integrate the component into your app using Salsa.js or Hosted for a standalone experience under a Salsa URL. Regardless of your choice, the flow remains fully customizable to match your brand, and you'll receive real-time webhook notifications to track employer progress through the sign-up journey.
Partner-Controlled Bank Accounts (Beta). We understand that many partners already handle bank account information. With our new feature, you can send employer bank account data via the Paystream API, eliminating the need for employers to set up and verify their accounts again. To prevent redundancy, simply disable the bank account card in the Employer Profile component. Reach out if you are interested in the beta access.
Employer Account Standing Insights. We are exposing a new field that allows you and your team to gain a comprehensive understanding of Know Your Business (KYB) verification and the ongoing Anti Money Laundering (AML) verification processes for every employer in your platform, as well as a detailed list of requirements to attain good standings. Accounts in the Restricted status are unable to operate on the platform, whereas Conditional and Active accounts can process payroll. Empower your customer success teams with this invaluable dashboard tool, allowing them to proactively engage with employers and facilitate the collection of required documents, ensuring world-class payroll support.
Improvements in Pay Groups. Pay groups are an essential part of setting up payroll, we're introducing support for default Pay Groups, streamlining the process by automatically assigning them to new workers within a specific employer. This feature is especially beneficial for businesses with a single pay schedule.
Furthermore, our enhanced onboarding component features an improved pay group setup experience. It includes a dynamic period preview, reducing the necessity for corrections by offering a clear view of upcoming pay periods during setup.
